Swan Image Is 2007 Seasons Champion
December 31 - Swan Image (Balanced Image - Swan Lake) concluded his 4 year old campaign as Season's Champion 4 Year Old Trotting Stallion on the basis of his 1:51.4 mile winning the Open Trot at the Meadowlands on June 9, 2007. He will be campaigned in 2008 by trainer Ross Croghan, and even bigger things will be expected from him against the top trotters in North America as an aged horse in 2008.
Bring Me Back U.S. – Another Major Swedish Star for Windsong
December 4 – Along with Bring Me Luck US, Stefan Persson now has a second budding Swedish racing star bred by Windsong Stable. After dominant wins in his initial qualifier and pari-mutuel start, Bring Me Back US (SJs Caviar – Bax Machine) demolished a field of 2YO trotting colts at Jagersro Racetrack to win by 11 lengths in a time of 2:02.1f (mile rate for the 1640 m. race). The time was only 1/10 of a second off the track record for 2YO trotters, even in the cold weather. Our European readers can obtain more details of the race by following the link http://www.jagersro.m.se/trav/tavlref/senast_071204_1.html. His photo is the second from the bottom of the page, with the #6 saddlecloth.

Bring Me Luck U.S. - Best 2YO Filly In Sweden?
November 29 - Bring Me Luck US (Kadabra - Polyester Hanover) displayed tonight why Aby (Sweden) track writers are saying she is arguably the best 2 year old filly in Sweden this year. From Post 11 in the second tier, Bring Me Luck US established her utter dominance of this group for trainer/driver Stefan Persson, winning by "many" lengths in a time of 2:05f (mile rate) for the 1 5/16 mile race. Bring Me Luck US is now 5 - 3 - 2 - 0 with earnings of about $23,500 in 2007.
Bring Me Luck US is a half sister to Nobell Prize, a Windsong's Legacy colt purchased at Harrisburg by Tommy Andersson. We wish both Stefan and Tommy the very best of racing luck in 2008! Windsong Stable will sell Ruffles, an Andover Hall half sister, in the Concord Stud Farm consignment at the 2008 Harrisburg Sale.
Giant Cookie With Three Race Win Streak at Woodbine
November 2 - Sometimes a change of scenery makes all the difference, and the crisp Canadian air seems to have made a great difference in the racing career of Giant Cookie, a three year old gelding bred by Windsong Stable, by Malabar Man out of Intoxicating Lady, a half sister to the great Bold Dreamer. Giant Cookie now has a three race winning streak, climbing the overnight ranks for new trainer/owner Stephen Bossence, driver Trevor Ritchie, and owner Lee Barton. His first win on October 4 in a NW1 was by five lengths from Post 10, in 1:57.1. His second win on October 25 was in a NW2 in 1:55.4, and his third win in a NW2 was by 2 lengths in 1:55.2, his lifetime mark. Giant Cookie is now 12 - 3 - 3 - 2 for $37,262 in 2007, and we'll look for even bigger things from him in the future.

Swan Image Wins Open Trot at The Meadowlands in 1:51.4.
June 8 - Swan Image again lowered his Seasons Leading mark to 1:51.4 in winning the Open Trot tonight in dominant fashion, just missing Kadabra's track record by 1/5 of a second. With Post 3 in a short field of five, Swan Image got away fourth and followed the pacesetters to the half in 55.4. Drive Dave Miller pulled Swan Image, moving relentlessly first over around the final turn until he pulled away from the field in deep stretch to win by two lengths over San Remo Kosmos. The win raised Swan Image's lifetime earnings to $174,052.
Swan Image Lowers Season's Leader Mark to 1:52.1 at The Meadowlands
June 1 - Swan Image once again tonight lowered his own Season's Leading record to 1:52.1 in winning a $26,000 Conditioned Trot at the Meadowlands for driver Dave Miller. Swept To Victory Second at Solvalla in 4YO Elite Mare Trot on Elitlopp Sunday
May 27 - Swept to Victory (S Js Caviar - Sweepstake Hanover) showed her courage and determination in finishing a very game second in the Four Year Old Mare Elite ($70,000) at Solvalla (Sweden) on Elitlopp Sunday for trainer Jimmy Ehlers. Swept to Victory found herself hung outside first over very early, and was never able to pick up cover during the entire race. Despite this huge disadvantage, she never gave in to the field pressing behind her and finished strongly behind the winner. Swept to Victory defeated a field that contained such notable North American exports as Emantee and Oaklea Omega. Her lifetime earnings now stand at over $77,000.

Swan Image A Force To Be Reckoned With In 2007
May 11 - Swan Image (Balanced Image - Swan Lake) blew the doors off his competitors tonight in a $26,000 Conditioned race at the Meadowlands, stopping the timer in a jaw-dropping 1:52.4 for driver John Campbell, trainer Ross Croghan, and owner Lawrence Roman. Swan Image got away fourth at the rail, and just before the half made a huge three-wide move to sweep to the lead. Campbell kept the hammer down, and before long he had 4 lengths on the field. A breaker soon removed any chance to catch him, and Swan Image made it look easy under a hand drive for Campbell. Now 4, Swan Image won several ONTSS Gold eliminations at 3 for then-owner Cliff Siegel, who deserves a great deal of credit for allowing this horse to develop gradually. Swan Image was sold for $87,000 at the January 2007 Tattersalls Meadowlands Sale. If this performance is any indication, he was well worth it.
Windsong Stable sells Swan For All, an Andover Hall yearling colt and half brother to Swan Image, Magic Swan 2, 1:57.2; 3. 1:56.2f, 1:56.3h; 4, 1:55.1f ($382,328), and Swanderful 2, 1:58-06 ($42,170).
