Windsong-bred Mare Is Dam of $180,000 2012 Finnish Kriterium Winner
September 29 - Bosses Lily (The Bosses Lindy - Lil Wonder) set a new record of 2:01f (mile rate) for 2600 m. in winning the $180,000 Kriterium in Finland, becoming only the second filly to win this prestigious race. Windsong Stable bred her dam, Lil Wonder, who was exported after her purchase by Finnish interests. Lil Wonder is a foal of 2003 by Donerail out of the Windsong-owned mare Lil Gracy.
Jacks To Open Comes Up Aces in Kindergarten Series
September 20 - Jacks To Open (Conway Hall - Jodis Jayme) found the big track at the Red Mile to his liking today in winning a $10,000 leg of the Kindergarten Series. Starting from Post , Jacks To Open powered his way to a parked out lead in a 56.4 half. From there, Jacks To Open dealt the rest of the hand with a big five length victory in a lifetime mark of 1:55.1 for driver Mike Lachance, trainer/owner Paul Kelley, and owner Our Horse Cents Stable. His lifetime earnings are now $32,439.
Bouncing Bax Is Best in $12,800 NYB Excelsior Series at Tioga
September 14 - Bouncing Bax (Credit Winner - Bax Machine) followed her recent NYSS win at Batavia with a convincing victory in the $12,800 NYB Excelsior Series tonight at Tioga Downs. Leaving slowly from Post 2 for trainer/driver Jim Raymer, Bouncing Bax found herself a distant sixth until the 3/4 pole, where she made her way through the field to be second at the top of the stretch. Bouncing Bax then turned in a 28.3 final quarter to win by one length in a lifetime mark of 1:58.2f. Bouncing Bax now has lifetime earnings of $54,732 for owners Harbor Racing Stable of Houston, Texas.
Swan In A Million Wins $22,000 Invitational at Indiana Downs
September 11 - The lightly raced Swan In A Million (Andover Hall - Swan Lake) displayed his class with a strong win in a $22,000 Invitational at Indiana Downs tonight. Starting from Post 6, Swan In A Million found himself at the very rear of the pack, sitting eighth until the 3/4 pole. When he finally made his move, Swan In A Million swept past the entire field in a 1:54.3 victory for driver Trace Tetrick, trainer Bob Stewart, and owners Diamond Creek Farm, Mary Jane Anderson, and Mystical Marker Farms. His lifetime earnings now stand at $175,697.
Bouncing Bax Trounces Rivals In $29,200 NYSS at Batavia Downs
August 10 - Bouncing Bax (Credit Winner - Bax Machine) won the $29,200 NYSS at Batavia today for owners Harbor Racing Stable and trainer/driver Jim Raymer. Starting from Post 2, Bouncing Bax got away third and sat third patiently until after the 3/4 pole, assuming the lead by the top of the stretch and winning by a length in 2:00. Bouncing Bax recently had a second place finish in the NYSS at Yonkers, and took third in NYSSs at Vernon and Buffalo. Bouncing Bax has now earned $38,053 lifetime.
Top Billing Wins $98,504 PASS at the Meadows
August 3 - Top Billing (Andover Hall - NY Starlet) finished the legs of the 2012 PA Sire Stakes with the second highest point score after winning today's $98,504 PASS at The Meadows. Starting outside from Post 7, Top Billing got away second and quickly reached the front in a 56.1 half. From there, Top Billing cruised unchallenged to the finish line for driver Dave Palone, where his comfortable two length victory in 1:53.4f secured him a place in the PA Sire Stakes Final. Top Billing is now 8 - 5 - 1 - 0 with lifetime earnings of $177,996 for owners Jared and Jason Allen and trainer Julie Miller.
Casting Couch Downs Opposition in $20,000 PA Stallion Series
August 2 - Casting Couch (Donato Hanover - NY Starlet) proved that she isn't easy to beat today in the $20,000 PA Stallion Series for 2YO trotting fillies at Harrahs Philadelphia. Quickly going to the lead from Post 3 for driver Ray Schnittker, Casting Couch went on cruise control for a wire-to-wire one length victory in 1:59.4f. After a previous second place finish in the Stallion Series, Casting Couch is now 3 - 1 - 1 - 0 with lifetime earnings of $17,800 for owner/trainer/driver Ray Schnittker and Casting Couch Stable.
Pop My Buttons Proud to Win $12,800 NYB Excelsior Series at Batavia
July 28 - Pop My Buttons (Credit Winner - Button Box) popped the field today to win the $12,800 NYB Excelsior Series today at Batavia Downs for owners Howard Berke, Matthew Bencic, Sam Schillaci, and Thomas McTygue. Pop My Buttons assumed command by the quarter pole from Post 2, and scored a wire-to-wire one length victory in 2:01.3f for trainer/driver Sam Schillaci. Pop My Buttons is now 12 - 2 - 3 - 3 with lifetime earnings of $19,033.
Top Billing Resumes Winning Ways in 1:53.4f PASS Win
July 14 - After a layoff, Top Billing (Andover Hall - NY Starlet) hung tough to score a 1:53.4f lifetime mark in the $99,438 PASS at Pocono Downs today. From Post 2, Top Billing got off to his usual leisurely start, getting away fourth. Driver Tyler Buter sent Top Billing first over well before the half, and was content to let him hang tough outside until the stretch. A demanding stretch drive saw Top Billing get up for victory by a short nose over the hard-charging Lindy's Jersey Boy. Top Billing is now 6 - 4 - 1 - 0 with earnings of $124,644. Owners Jason and Douglas Allen now have a decision to make: do they keep Top Billing racing in Sire Stakes level events, or do they race him against the top horses in the sport? It is a decision that most owners would like to face!
Swan In A Million With Back-To-Back 1:53 Wins at the Meadowlands
July 14 - Swan In A Million (Andover Hall - Swan Lake) showed a great deal of talent as a two year old, taking a 1:57 record at Vernon and finishing third in the Breeders Crown Final, timed in 1:54. Except for a 1:55.2 win in the Review Stakes, his three year old year was a disappointment. This year, Swan In A Million is starting to put a racing season together for trainer Bob Stewart and owners Diamond Creek Farm, Mary Jane Anderson, and Mystical Marker Farms. Working his way up through the Conditioned classes at the Meadowlands, Swan In A Million is now 3 - 2 - 1 - 0 in 2012 while raising his lifetime earnings to $146,347. Swan In A Million has won back-to-back races in 1:53 and 1:53.1, most recently defeating Autumn Escapade. We'll look for bigger things from him in the future.

Starting from Post 5, Top Billing got away fourth and was content to follow along in a slow pace past the half. Driver David Miller then sent Top Billing outside in pursuit of the lead role. Bax of Life Is Back For Another Successful Racing Season
April 21 – Bax of Life (Windsong’s Legacy – Bax Machine) won her first start of 2012 at Woodbine in a $23,000 conditioned event with a powerful stretch move, displaying talent that may propel her to WEG’s higher trotting classes this year. From Post 4, Bax of Life settled for a third place trip along the rail until almost the 7/8 pole, when she closed with a furious rush to beat the pace setting Vimy Ridge by ½ length in 1:55.3. Owned and trained by Jerry Duford, Bax of Life is ready to improve over a very successful three year old season in which she earned $87,124 with a 25 – 5 – 4 – 7 racing only in overnight events.

Top Billing Takes Encore Bow In Spring Survivor Series
April 13 – Top Billing once again took a bow in the Winners Circle tonight in winning the second leg of the Spring Survivor Series at the Meadowlands for owners Jason and Doug Allen. Starting from Post 1, Top Billing got away to a leisurely start and was fifth by 9 lenghts at the ¼ pole. After being gapped from the field by a breaking horse, Top Billing caught the field and went first over for the middle part of the mile. At the head of the stretch, Top Billing was third with daylight in front of him. He was dominantly the best in a 27.2 last quarter to win in equaling his own early Season’s Record time of 1:55.2 by a length for driver David Miller. Now 2 for 2 in his brief career, Top Billing will be the favorite for the $58,650 Spring Survivor Series Final on April 21.
Top Billing Grabs Limelight In Spring Survivor Series
March 30 - Top Billing (Andover Hall - NY Starlet) wowed his audience in the first $12,500 leg of the Survivor Series at the Meadowlands today. Sent from Post 2 as an overlooked 12/1 choice, Top Billing was eased into sixth position by driver Andy Miller after the start, avoiding a breaking horse at the lead. After a 57.4 half, Top Billing worked into a nicely covered second over trip in a 1:26.2 three quarters, before tipping out in the stretch to speed by the leaders in a two length 1:55.2 win. Top Billing paid $26.20 to win in this successful first pari-mutuel start. Top Billing is owned by Jason and Doug Allen (NJ), and is trained by Julie Miller.
